Shipping Options
SDI typically uses UPS, Federal Express and USPS. Customers can opt for their choice of service levels. We are happy to use another express shipping company at your request.
For safe transport, most of our equipment is shipped double-boxed with packaging that exceeds shipping company standards. We provide tracking details and your shipment will arrive with a packing slip along with any references you wish to be included on the box. All shipments travel fully insured. Most instruments ship within 1-2 business days.
Warranty Information
Buy with confidence from SDI. We offer a 7-day ROR and a 30-day warranty on most instruments. Our warranty is not transferable.
Warranty may entail a replacement unit or a refund depending on item availability. All electronic test equipment must be deployed in combination with uninterruptible power supplies (UPS.) Warranty does not cover neglect, modifications, damage or misuse by end-user. Our warranty does not include shipping costs.

Privacy and Security
Your trust is valued at SDI. SDI policy is to keep all records, communications and contact information of all of our customers, contractors and business partners private. We will never sell or provide any information to third parties for any reason. Whether your interactions are general inquiries or ongoing consulting projects, our policy will remain consistent. We do not keep hard
copies of financial information - all such records are handled through secured website with full encryption.
All detailed engineering consulting projects are performed on stand-alone workstations with no ethernet/internet connections. Results are preferably burned to DVD/CD and shipped using overnight expedited service. At customer request, SDI can upload proprietary technical information on our secure website to allow customer an opportunity to download data through FTP proxy.
